  • Gena

    Instructor

Gena began her journey towards becoming a Pilates teacher through a painful back injury. Following a successful back surgery, she was looking for something that could help her rehab and strengthen her back and core. Pilates was the perfect modality to help her regain her strength and flexibility. Gena soon realized that she wanted to help others to experience the physical gains that she had made. In addition to her business as a jewelry designer, Gena began taking courses at Pilates on Fifth in New York City. She completed her Pilates Matwork, Reformer, Chair, and Barrel certifications, and has been teaching Pilates for the past 9 years. In November 2013, Gena traveled to London to complete her Garuda training certifications in Garuda Matwork, Barre, and apparatus, a fusion of pilates, yoga, dance, and tai chi.

  • Amy

    Instructor

Amy is a Certified STOTT® Pilates Instructor in Mat and All Apparatus. She is also a Certified Pre-Natal and Post-Natal Specialist, a Licensed Buff Bones® Instructor and a TRX Trainer. She is also trained in Pilates for Scoliosis and Pilates for Neurological Conditions and has worked with those afflicted with MS and stroke. A former dancer who was introduced to Pilates to rehabilitate an ankle injury, Amy enjoys helping people of all ages and abilities feel better and preserve their health and strength through Pilates. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, the beach, good food and music.

  • Marcela

    Instructor

During her Physical Therapy course in college in Brazil, Marcela had her first contact with Pilates and realized how the exercises could help her in treating her patients in all areas of Physical Therapy. After she graduated from college, she decided to take the Pilates course and after that started teaching to help in the rehabilitation of people who suffered from strokes, cervical and sciatica pain, women going through pregnancy, etc. One year after working for a Pilates Chain Studio, the Franchise brand owner invited her to open her own unit and she did. This helped her in acquiring more experience and providing experience in helping all kinds of students. A few years later, after moving to the United States she started working with Club Pilates where she can once again apply her knowledge and passion in helping people heal, improve and stay healthy.

  • Laura

    Instructor

Laura is on a mission to advance more of what matters in the world - more of what’s good for people and the planet. She's always been an active person, but, at the age of 15, she was diagnosed with a degenerative disc disease. It was a devastating blow when doctors told her that her spine looked like that of a 70-year-old, that she would never have a day without pain, and that she would have to stop the distance runs and other activities she loved if she ever hoped to regain feeling in her feet and legs. Laura credits Pilates with decompressing her spine and nearly eliminating the pain, tingling, and hopelessness she’d felt. In 2010, Laura became a Pilates instructor to help other people experience the kind of "toe touchable” mornings and days of limitless possibility she'd discovered through Pilates. When she isn’t at the studio helping people get the most out of life, Laura can be found running, doing yoga, and branding and marketing all kinds of good causes - from small businesses and towns to billion dollar fundraising campaigns and even nonprofits organizations - through her company Urgently Good. She’s always ready with a crisp high-five and believes all things in life, including Pilates, require dedication, intention, motivation, and a sense of humor.

  • Gabriela

    Instructor

While graduating in Physical Education in Brazil, Gabriela had her first contact with Pilates and fell in love with the method instantly!! She saw the difference and transformation in her body physically and mentally shortly after taking classes. She decided to become a Pilates instructor which would allow her to help people feel better with themselves both physically and mentally! She has been a Pilates instructor since 2010 and believes it’s really gratifying and motivating for her to be able to help and motivate others to live an active lifestyle!

  • Jennifer

    Instructor

Jennifer comes to Pilates with a background in the healing and performing arts. She was a dance major at Skidmore College and trained for 2 years at the Martha Graham School in NYC. Her passion for movement and the human body led her to become a licensed massage therapist in NYC. She is also a certified Equine Sport Massage Therapist and holds teacher certifications in Hatha yoga and Anti-Gravity yoga. She has performed throughout the Northeast and Hawaii as a Singer/Dancer/Fiddler and has taught singing locally for the past 6 years with a focus on posture and healthy, efficient coordination of the mix voice. She is inspired in helping people find ease and efficiency within movement and is very excited to be teaching Pilates! When she is not teaching she is usually at the barn riding or massaging horses.

  • Barbara

    Instructor

Barbara was first introduced to the Pilates Method and its ability to strengthen the body, improve flexibility and reduce tension and fatigue through her mat Pilates practice. She began working with Club Pilates and found their method to be effective for everyone regardless of age or fitness level. Inspired by the Club Pilates community and the positive well being she experienced as a result of her personal practice, she enrolled in the Club Pilates teacher training. Now comprehensively certified in the Pilates Method she hopes to help clients develop healthy movement patterns and more freedom in their bodies as they work towards their fitness goals.

  • Carrie

    Instructor

As a horse trainer, Carrie always recommended pilates to all her students. It is a great way to improve balance and body control essential for everyone, not just riders. After Carrie joined Club Pilates Flemington as a member, it seemed natural for me to teach Pilates myself. She enrolled in the Club Pilates teacher training program, and now she enjoys seeing people gain confidence in their daily lives through the strength, coordination, and focus that comes with practicing Pilates.

  • Shelby
